Green-circle-plus-icon  What We Built

Construction delivered a complete transformation of the existing facility, including:

  • Full building fire sprinkler coverage
  • New ADA-compliant entrances
  • Conversion of the former pool area into an event space
  • Full interior finish renovation
  • New basement space to store and charge lithium-based golf carts (with MEP/FP systems designed to support vehicle storage/exhaust needs)

Green-circle-plus-icon  Project Overview

After the City of Greer acquired the Greer Golf Course in February 2020, the clubhouse became a key piece of the City’s long-term master plan—positioned as a hub for future community development. P+F Construction was selected as the CM at-Risk partner, leading preconstruction planning MEP design, and coordinating owner-selected architectural, structural, and civil design to align scope, schedule, and budget.

Using an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approach, P+F developed bid packages for each project component and competitively bid design-build fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical trades early to strengthen collaboration and refine scope.

Key Details:
  • Owner: City of Greer
  • Project Type: Municipal Center Renovation
  • Delivery Method: CM at-Risk + IPD (Design-Build MEP)
  • P+F Services: Preconstruction + Construction + Design-Build MEP/FP
  • Project Size: 10,000 sq ft

P+F generated GMP savings, allowing the City of Greer for reinvestment into the project, which enabled the city to add “wish list” scope items further enhancing the final product.
