Green-circle-plus-icon  Project Overview

As the Lakelands Region YMCA worked to address a growing need for quality childcare in Laurens County, the organization set out to develop a new child development center that would support local families and help parents participate in the workforce.

P+F Construction was engaged in 2021 to begin master planning for the new facility. Serving as the design-build contractor, P+F developed the initial design and budget used to support fundraising efforts throughout the community. After design, budgeting and fundraising were completed, construction began in February 2024.

  • Architect: Project Plus

Through detailed planning during preconstruction and efficient project execution, P+F completed the project ahead of schedule and under budget. The completed facility provides Laurens County families with greater access to quality childcare while supporting the local workforce. Project savings developed during construction were returned to the owner’s budget, reinforcing P+F’s commitment to responsible stewardship and delivering value beyond construction.
