Green-circle-plus-icon  Project Overview

As part of Clemson University’s Conference Complex Corporation’s master plan near the Madren Center, The Martin Inn needed a new pool amenity building to enhance the guest experience for hotel guests and Walker Course members.

P+F Construction was selected as the Construction Manager At-Risk, providing preconstruction, design-build MEP and construction services. With the pool contractor already under contract, P+F assembled the design and construction team and coordinated closely with the owner, design partners and pool contractor to align the building with the larger site development.

The result is a resort-style amenity space designed for guests and members to unwind, gather and enjoy views of Lake Hartwell.

P+F completed the project within the 100-day contractual schedule while delivering buyout and contingency savings back to the owner. The completed amenity building creates a polished, functional poolside destination for Martin Inn guests, Walker Course members, Clemson alumni and patrons. Through careful planning and coordination, P+F helped ensure the pool was operational ahead of the spring season while delivering a finished space that feels cohesive with the surrounding hospitality and Lake Hartwell setting.
